Getting Purple

At the time of writing (June, 2005), there is no packacked and ready-for-download actual release of Purple.

To run it, you will need to check out the code from CVS and build it yourself.

We fully realize that this is a rather high threshold, and will be doing a release, including pre-compiled binaries for at least Linux, Windows and Mac OS X, shortly.
